About my work

As a psychodynamic psychotherapist and counsellor, I place importance in looking to the past in order to explore the present. My aim is to offer an empathetic and non-judgemental space where exploration of your inner world feels safe. Together we will identify patterns, and make links between behaviours, thoughts and feelings.

Regardless of what brings you to the therapy, I believe it is important to acknowledge and explore difference, and the many ways in which different aspects of one’s life can influence an individual's identity (race, gender, sexuality, class, culture, neurodiversity, geography, etc.). With that being said, we might come from different backgrounds, but there is no room for discrimination or judgement within my practice, all the parts that make up you, are allowed to show up in therapy, and feel safe.

A significant part of my work revolves around helping people explore and embrace their identities. Whether you are navigating sexual or gender identity, racial or inter-racial identity, or feeling caught between dual cultural identities, I’m here to support you. I’m also deeply passionate about working with immigrants and expats who may be experiencing a sense of displacement or struggling to balance different cultural expectations. In addition to identity work, I have experience in empowering woman who are discovering their neurodivergent selves.

I specialise in self-empowerment. Many of my clients come to me after difficult experiences—whether it’s recovering from a toxic or abusive relationship, healing from family trauma, or dealing with the aftermath of emotional abuse. I’m here to help you regain your sense of strength and self-worth.

I understand seeking therapy can feel like a daunting task, and it takes courage to begin the journey, it is a commitment to yourself (and in turn those around you) and for that I applaud you. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like to begin therapy.

I look forward to hearing from you.
